Over the past five years, I have replaced three pairs of large gates around the perimeter of my house.
The originals were wooden traditional farm gates, painted cream with black iron work.......the wood had rotted on both the gates and posts and this is the reason that they failed.
Orchard Workshops produced three pairs of identical gates in steel box section along with matching steel gate posts and by the time these were painted and the decorative hinges added,they were indistinguishable from the originals.
At the same time as the replacements were delivered and fitted,Orchard Workshops installed new BFT brand underground motors to all gates which work from one convenient four station key fob.
In conclusion,this was a well worth while refurbishment and I certainly received a "Rolls Royce quality" job from Darren.

I was recommended to Darren by a few people as being the best in his field, i have had solid electric wooden gates for a while previously and had constant problems in the high winds. He was very professional throughout from quote to fitting and assured me that he could provide high quality gates that i wouldn't have to worry about again. He did just that, not only have i used them in high winds successfully for over 4 years now but they look stunning and elegant too, they have really created many admirers from my guests and i love them . Darren Mason built and installed our electric gates in November 2000 and we have been extremely pleased with the high standard and quality workmanship he has provided.
